Location: Home Based (UK)

Working from home may be the new normal for many, however this is something we have always done, and we are pretty proud of!

We are really pleased to confirm we will be expanding our customer service team into the Netherlands and are looking to recruit several full and part time positions based from home, permanently!

tombola is a family owned company which operates the UK's biggest on-line bingo website, we also have online websites in Italy, Spain, Denmark & Sweden

Our approach is different to many of our competitors in that we produce all of our games ourselves; in fact, just about every aspect of tombola is managed in-house.

The future of tombola could not be brighter as we look to build on our existing market-leading presence.

What will you do?

Successful candidates will be joining an existing team of Customer Service Advisors who support players via live chat, email and telephone.

To be a success in this role you will have:

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills with the passion to provide first point resolution with each and every player interaction. Ability to communicate primarily in native Dutch tongue but also in English to support our players via email, live chat and telephone.
  • Great self-management skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We require agents to be able to work well under pressure during busy times.
  • Flexibility and adaptability –IT skills covering computers and mobile devices and the ability to problem solve customer issues remotely.
  • Passion, a positive attitude, and friendly personality– we’re all about community and we’re looking for individuals who possess great people skills to help resolve player queries.
  • Minimum of 3 GCSE's
  • Appropriate workspace and equipment – (Laptop / desktop alongside a suitable home office area)
  • High speed broadband connection

You will use the above to:

  • Provide exceptional support to our players. Play a core role in our Safer Gambling strategy.
  • Develop an expert-level knowledge of the tombola websites and games.
  • Be part of our Daily Task Rota (which includes activities such as: verifications, winner processing, complaints, failed transactions, Social Media interactions and support. These are managed via live chat, email and telephone)
  • Communicate important or unresolved issues to the rest of the team.

What would I be working?

Customer Support is open 24/7 and shifts will be allocated in 4-hour blocks.

12am-4am / 4am-8am / 7am-11am / 10am-2pm / 1pm-5pm / 4pm-8pm / 7pm-11pm / 10pm-2am


7am-11am / 10am-2pm / 1pm-5pm / 4pm-8pm / 7pm-11pm

We currently have a range of shifts available (24 – 40-hour contracts), however these will include evenings and weekends. An example of a part time / full time shift pattern is shown below. Available patterns will be shared at interview stage.

Salary: £10.30 per hour rising to £10.62 per hour after 12-week probationary period.
